Mural, product and print designs
As the artist in residence for LSE Generate, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects that aimed to capture the essence of this dynamic initiative based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). LSE Generate serves as a hub for entrepreneurs and innovators within the LSE community, providing them with resources, support, and programs to nurture their entrepreneurial aspirations.
The mural
One of the key projects I worked on was the creation of a captivating mural for LSE Generate's Kentish Town offices. The mural aimed to embody the organization's mission of positively contributing to society through socially driven entrepreneurship. To achieve this, I utilized bold colours, playful shapes, and satisfying squiggles to capture the enthusiasm and innovation that thrives within the LSE Generate universe.
… Getting the projector to display the artwork flat on the wall required some improvisation.
The merch
These products included tote bags, mugs and tea towels. Inspired by the mural, I incorporated the same format of bold, colourful shapes, and squiggles to create playful and visually appealing designs.
The prints featured a diverse range of abstract shapes, vistas, and text quotes, as well as some existing artwork from my portfolio. All the designs maintained a consistent colour palette, emphasizing creativity, playfulness, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the planet.
In addition to the mural, I was also tasked with designing artwork for various products that were sold through LSE Generate's shop, as well as prints for the coworking space’s walls.
